DN Van Lines was founded in 2003 as a moving and storage company dedicated to a premier level of service in the relocation industry. The first truck was painted, three dedicated movers were hired — some of whom still work for us today — and we set out to do moving better than the rest.
Within the first decade we earned interstate authority from the U.S. Department of Transportation, achieved A+ accreditation from the Better Business Bureau, opened a 21,000 square-foot New England headquarters in Marlborough, Massachusetts, and expanded to Jacksonville, Florida with full-service operations.
In 2013 we became a Transportation Service Provider with the Department of Defense and have since completed thousands of military relocations under the SCAC code DVLE. We later opened a Sterling, Virginia branch — creating a natural connection between our headquarters in the Boston area and our operations in Florida — and now serve the entire Mid-Atlantic from there.
Today we’re a federally licensed (USDOT 1141917), GSA-approved, IAM-validated mover with three full-service branches, a fleet of owned trucks, owned warehouses, and W-2 crews on payroll. Still independently owned. Still focused on doing every move right the first time.

I just completed a move from Boston to NYC, and I can't believe how stress-free DN made it. What a wonderful experience! The moving team arrived on time and was efficient and polite. They wrapped all my large furniture in blankets and there was not a scratch on anything. When DN Van Lines gave me a time estimate for the move, I was thinking to myself ''They can't get it done that quickly, can they?'' Not only was the estimate accurate, but the movers actually came in UNDER the time estimate. Tony and Lou were fast, efficient, and easy-going. Nothing was broken, everything was placed where I asked. A+ all the way.
I've used these guys twice in two years for my previous moves. Everyone from the customer service reps to the movers is very professional, efficient, and super friendly. On my last move, they even took the time to assemble my bed and they even repaired my end tables which were always wobbly. I don't plan on moving for a few years, but next time I do, I'm calling these guys.
100% satisfied. Pedro, Ever, and Mayron were an excellent crew. Helpful, courteous, and polite. They worked well as a team and kept a quick pace during a 90 degree day. The crew also assisted with removing and reinstalling a railing and front door to allow furniture to make it into our home. Highly recommend.
